La Casa di Nonno Mario è un affascinante e tranquillo rifugio, perfetto per coloro che cercano una fuga romantica o una vacanza con gli amici, immersi nella bellezza naturale di Praiano. Situata sul lato ovest del villaggio, la casa offre una vista mozzafiato su Positano e l'Isola di Capri, con una terrazza panoramica dove è possibile godere di splendidi tramonti sul mare. Recentemente ristrutturata, la casa vanta interni freschi e luminosi, arredati con gusto, e dispone di un ampio giardino con un'area barbecue per pranzare all'aperto.
Per raggiungere la casa, sarà necessario salire circa 60 gradini, parte del caratteristico percorso pedonale che passa accanto alla suggestiva Chiesa di San Gennaro. Per coloro che hanno problemi di mobilità o che trasportano bagagli ingombranti, questo potrebbe rappresentare una sfida, quindi si consiglia di pianificare il vostro arrivo tenendo conto di questo aspetto.
La casa si sviluppa su tre livelli:
Primo Livello:
• Zona living con divano letto e cucina in muratura (molto fresca, quindi non è previsto l'aria condizionata)
• Area giardino anteriore con tavolo per 6 persone, barbecue e vista sul mare
Secondo Livello - Soppalco:
• Camera matrimoniale con balcone panoramico

Terzo Livello:
• Terrazza panoramica con vista su Capri e Positano, accessibile da entrambe le camere
• Cucina completamente attrezzata (senza lavastoviglie)
• 2 camere matrimoniali (letto 160x190) con vista sul mare e accesso alla terrazza

La Casa di Nonno Mario si trova sul lato ovest di Praiano, a poca distanza a piedi dai principali servizi del villaggio. Oltre a ristoranti, bar e negozi di alimentari, è possibile raggiungere facilmente le fermate degli autobus locali e SITA, un bancomat e l'ufficio turistico.
Parcheggio: La casa non dispone di parcheggio privato direttamente sul posto, ma è disponibile un'area di parcheggio a pagamento a circa 800 metri di distanza, che dovrebbe essere prenotata in anticipo. Sebbene questo possa rappresentare un piccolo inconveniente, la distanza è facilmente percorribile a piedi e il parcheggio privato offre la sicurezza di un posto riservato per tutta la durata del vostro soggiorno.

Casa Elena è un appartamento accuratamente restaurato e arredato con mobili di pregio, parte di un'antica villa del XVII secolo con archi e colonne. Le ampie terrazze sul mare sono il punto forte della villa: una di queste gode di una vasca idromassaggio riscaldata, con vista sul mare. La posizione è strategica: la fermata dell'autobus è proprio di fronte e i migliori ristoranti sono a pochi metri di distanza. La proprietà è organizzata su due livelli: PRIMO PIANO include: • Ampia terrazza, vista mare, con tavolo e sedie per sei, sedie a sdraio, barbecue, doccia esterna e vasca idromassaggio riscaldata ( aperta tutto l'anno) N.B. la piscina ha bisogno di circa 24 ore per riscaldarsi. • Patio panoramico, accessibile da ogni camera da letto e zona living con tavolo e panche per mangiare all'aperto • Ampio soggiorno e zona pranzo, con divano letto doppio (160x190) • Cucina con lavastoviglie - non abitabile • Due ampie camere da letto matrimoniali (misura letto160x190), con accesso al patio anteriore e vista mare • Due bagni con doccia ZONA SOPPALCATA, con due letti singoli (non unibili). This was definitely a great stay. communication was excellent! However, let me just say if you have problems with walking up and down stairs this might not be the place for you. There's a significant amount of steps for the area all together. The homvedi di più

The home was wayyyy bigger than I thought. 2 bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen with bathroom. balcony is shared. 2nd level is another bedroom and bathroom with a washer. lower level kitchen was my favorite with the patio. The guide book they provide offers a lot of information on things to do. I highly suggest arranging transportation to and from. Taxis are hard to come by and the bus isn't dependable. honestly this was definitely an amazing stay. I really would have been cool just staying in the house the entire time we were there. The view is worth it. plan accordingly especially if you have big luggage And be prepared to walk. grocery store is near by, and groceries were affordable. Thanks again for a great stay!!!

You get to see which I believe is Positano. The rooms were very clean. The place is situated about 200m from the main street. If you have luggage might be a bit of a hassle to walk with down and up the stairs..but again, the place and view is worth it! Pretty central in Praino, with restaurants and grocery stores around it and the bus stop is right by the place. Only thing we had an issue with was parking- the host said the parking is 800m and that's pretty far with the amount of luggage- it's not like you can park on the street to take the luggage out, cars and buses are going down that area at all times. Luckily, we went pretty late not so much cars. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Cons: Home layout is odd - not totally unusual in Italy, but with family room downstairs - somewhat uninviting. Stairs may be difficult for some. The furniture is outdated. Updated and comfortable patio furniture would make this house so much nicer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! I am 7 months pregnant and still found the place very accessible which is not easy on the Amalfi Coast! The views are breathtaking from the top balcony. Photos do not do it justice. We would absolutely stay here avedi di più

Praiano is the most recommended area in all Amalfi coast and this place has the best terrace with beautiful views, walkable to the beach and everything is close by. The host is extremely helpful and responsive!

Our family had an absolutely amazing vacation in Praiano. The Villa was perfect for the 6 of us. Stunning views of the sea and of Positano. Villa is in a great location with fabulous restaurants within walking distance. All of the staff with Smaac wevedi di più

Francesco at SMAAC was incredibly helpful at any time that I needed, I couldn’t recommend SMAAC more. As for the house itself, we loved the location as the house was in a very quiet and peaceful location yet close to everything. People complain aboutvedi di più

As for the house itself, we loved the location as the house was in a very quiet and peaceful location yet close to everything. People complain about steps and walking but if you know the Amalfi coast, you know there’s no where you can go where there won’t be steps and walking. The house was very clean and had so much space for all 5 of us. The patio was beautiful. The only thing I can say is the beds aren’t the most comfortable and our power went out a few times and the washer broke but like I said above, Francesco was very quick to help sending out a service technician the next morning. We loved our stay in Praiano!

Staying at Nonno Mario was the best decision we made on our trip to Praiano. The house was gorgeous and spacious. Our family of 6 had more than enough space. The rooms were beautiful and the view was even better, with a view of the water and Positano. The location is great, and Praiano was a good choice as it still has the same beauty as the more popular locations like PositanoAmalfi do, but without the crowds. There are restaurants easily accessible by walking, and everything else along the coast is also accessible by carbus. The Smaac team was amazing as well. They were always available for questions and were proactive in making sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. Our stay was a 10/10 overall.

The apartment is what we expected, 3 beds on three different levels. Beds were on the hard side for me personally and bathrooms small. Kitchen was small but adequate with a few basics (coffee, pasta, oil, paper towels) provided which was appreciated.vedi di più
The apartment is what we expected, 3 beds on three different levels. Beds were on the hard side for me personally and bathrooms small. Kitchen was small but adequate with a few basics (coffee, pasta, oil, paper towels) provided which was appreciated. We loved Il Pino restaurant, went there twice as food and service were exceptional, reasonably priced (for Amalfi), within walking distance. There are a total of 95 steps from the unit to the main road plus expect lots of steps and walking throughout Amalfi coast. Bus service is inexpensive with bus stop nearby but times aren't reliable...took cash sometimes but then asked for tickets next time. There are private water taxis (not ferries) from Praia beach/harbor, quickest way to get to Amalfi and Positano but runs around $120. The closest beach One Fire is a challenging 400 step trek down and back up again with beautiful crystal clear water but very rocky beach so bring water shoes. View of the sea and coastline is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay! Villa was exactly as described and the views were amazing. Francesco was our POC and from the moment we booked till after we left, he was in constant communication with us, checking to see that everything was ok and if we needed anything. Their app, that we downloaded had what to expect, what to do and instructions for checking in and departing which made things much easier. When I did have a question, he responded immediately. We were also very impressed that we were provided a video to finding the villa from the exact drive on the main street to the pathway to the front door. Keep in mind it's the Amalfi coast so most everything is a pathway from the main road therefore it can be tricky but that's the charm of it. I would recommend that if you drive there, you secure parking thru them. Even though the lot was a bit of a walk away from the villa, public street parking spots are few and far between. We loved it and look forward to visiting again someday!!

We stayed at the place for 4 nights in beginning of May - and loved every moment! The apartment is very large and has three stories. It's very clean and the kitchen has all the necessary equipment to cook. There's a store nearby to do groceries (5 min walk). You have to walk some stairs, but it's better than most apartments in the area! My 65 year old parents were able to do it easily. The view is absolutely stunning, direct view to Positano and in the distance even Capri! Praiano is also perfectly located, I recommend staying here instead of PositanoAmalfi, and just take the bus (5 minutes away walking). The host was extremely helpful, checking in over the chat everyday, and sent us several recommendations. Will certainly come back!

I recommend staying at this place. It was in a very good location overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean and Positano. Very close to restaurants, markets, and the bus station. You do have to go down 70 steps but it is not that difficult. It was vedi di più
I recommend staying at this place. It was in a very good location overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean and Positano. Very close to restaurants, markets, and the bus station. You do have to go down 70 steps but it is not that difficult. It was a great place to stay. Praiano is a great location when visiting Positano and Amalfi since it is between both. Deborah greeted us and was very helpful, making the check in and check out process very easy.

This was a perfect place for us while we were in Praiano. Debora is a great host and lives nearby if you need anything. If you haven't read much about the Amalfi Coast yet, know that there are a lot of steps - so pack accordingly! This apartment has vedi di più
This was a perfect place for us while we were in Praiano. Debora is a great host and lives nearby if you need anything. If you haven't read much about the Amalfi Coast yet, know that there are a lot of steps - so pack accordingly! This apartment has a perfect kitchenette with a large refrigerator, coffee maker (American and Italian), microwave and plenty of utensils, etc. We picked this particular place because it had a washing machine, it worked great. The shower is like typical Italian showers, small - but this one has great pressure and the hot water lasted through two showers! Always a plus! The patio really is the place to be here, there is a beautiful ocean view! The location of this apartment is great, close to the small 'downtown' of Praiano, where you can find a great little grocery store, tobacco shop, limoncello shop and lots of restaurants. They also own La Brace Restaurant, we had two great meals there - a must visit!
